Job summary

GXO is recruiting for a Class 2 Driver based in Northallerton (DL6 2PJ) on a full-time, permanent basis with a rare Monday–Friday schedule. The role operates 06:00–14:00 with multi-drop deliveries across the UK and training on Forklift and Moffett truck.

The package includes a salary of £35,147.12 per year plus monthly OT bonuses, 22 days leave, pension, dental plans, GP service, life assurance, and access to GXO University.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 licence with CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Less than six points on licence; no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements.
• MHE Licence for Moffett.
• Willingness to be trained on Forklift and Moffett truck.

Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries and collections across the UK.
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Perform safe manual handling in line with training.
• Use HHT (handheld device) compliantly.
• Conduct dynamic risk assessments at delivery/collection points.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional manner at all times.

This is afull-time, permanent rolewith arare and highly sought-after Monday to Friday schedule, covering the hours between 06:00 and 14:00.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• MHE Licence for Moffett
• A valid Class 2 licence with an up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
• Less than six points on your licence (as well as no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
• An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
• A strong understanding of road safety and vehicle compliance
• A team player with a professional attitude and excellent timekeeping
• Willingness to be trained on a Forklift and Moffett truck
