Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver (Cat C) to join a well-established national business based in Fareham. This is a full-time opportunity with immediate starts available and a path to permanent employment for the right candidate.

Expect to work 6am starts, Monday–Friday, with a minimum of 8 hours' pay per shift, and to receive competitive PAYE rates of £17.00 per hour plus benefits such as on-site parking, pension contributions, weekly pay and access to the Acorn

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Category C (Class 2) entitlement.
• Valid Digital Tachograph card.
• Experience in multi-drop driving preferred.
• Reliable, flexible and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Deliver goods accurately and on time.
• Complete delivery paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report defects.
• Follow all road transport legislation and company procedures.
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers, Class 2 Drivers, Cat C Drivers, LGV Drivers, and Multi-Drop Drivers looking for a full-time role with excellent rates of pay, immediate starts, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.
