Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment is seeking a Class 2 Driver in Milton Keynes to operate a refuse collection vehicle and collect waste from local areas daily. Shifts run Monday to Friday with early starts of 04:00–13:30 or 05:00–14:30; a Driving Assessment may be required before shifts are allocated.

You must have a Class 2 licence with at least 12 months driving experience, plus UK DCPC and Digi-tacho cards. UK resident preferred; visa assistance and relocation are not provided.

Qualifications

• Must have Class 2 driving licence and at least 12 months of commercial driving experience.
• UK DCPC and Digi-tacho cards required; up to 6 points may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle.
• Collect refuse from various local areas daily.
• Work with loaders when required and assist with manual bin movement.
• Maintain safety around pedestrians and other road users.

Hours:

This role may require you to complete a Driving Assessment before you can be allocated a shift.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Driving and operating a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle
• Collecting refuse from different local areas each day
• Working alongside the loaders when required
• Assisting with the manual movement of domestic wheelie bins
• Working safely around pedestrians, traffic, and other road users

All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.

About you:

You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least12 months experience driving commercially.

You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
