Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is hiring experienced Class 2 Drivers for Milton Keynes to support Amazon Fresh deliveries. This is a full-time, permanent role with a 5-on, 3-off shift pattern and night starts between 01:00 and 04:00.

You will drive 18- or 14-tonne Class 2 vehicles, handling roll cages and ensuring accurate, safe deliveries. The role requires a full UK licence with category C Entitlement, CPC and Digital Tachograph, and a readiness for physically active work.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence with category C Entitlement.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence (no certain endorsements).
• Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your own initiative.
• Willingness to undertake physically active role with manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Deliver frozen, chilled and ambient products to Amazon Fresh locations across London using roll cages.
• Complete an average of 2 drops per shift, plus collections from Amazon DCs and supplier sites.
• Operate 18-tonne and 14-tonne Class 2 vehicles, including tail lift-equipped trucks.
• Deliver and collect across a wider area, e.g., Birmingham and Manchester when required.
• Safely load, unload and manoeuvre roll cages with secure handling.
• Perform vehicle checks, complete paperwork, and maintain safety and compliance standards.

This is a full-time, permanent position working a 5-on, 3-off shift pattern, with night shift start times between 01:00 and 04:00.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Deliver frozen, chilled and ambient products to Amazon Fresh locations across London using roll cages
• Complete an average of 2 drops per shift, alongside collections from Amazon Distribution Centres and supplier sites
• Operate 18-tonne and 14-tonne Class 2 vehicles, including tail lift-equipped trucks
• Carry out deliveries and collections across a wider area, including locations such as Birmingham and Manchester when required
• Safely load, unload and manoeuvre roll cages, ensuring all goods are handled securely and professionally
• Conduct vehicle checks, complete all required paperwork, and maintain high standards of safety and compliance throughout your shift

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full UK driving licence with category C Entitlement
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
• An up to date CPC and Digital Tachograph
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative
• A willingness to undertake a physically active role involving manual handling of roll cages, frequent entry and exit from the vehicle cab and delivery work throughout the day
