Job summary

M4 Talent Group - North is recruiting for Class 2 HGV drivers to join a Sherburn in Elmet delivery team (LS25 6JH). You will be responsible for safe, accurate home deliveries with a porter assisting you, ensuring high customer service standards.

This ongoing role runs Tuesday to Saturday with 5am starts. Hourly pay ranges from £17.51 to £23.23, and you will complete 5–15 deliveries daily depending on routes. A DBS check and 2-day paid induction are required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Category C (Class 2) entitlement.
• Digital Tachograph Card and Driver Qualification Card (CPC) valid.
• DBS check completed or able to pass DBS screening.
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred.
• Reliable with good timekeeping and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete approximately 5–15 deliveries per day to customers' homes and other locations.
• Drive a Class 2 HGV, ensuring products are transported safely and delivered on time.
• Work alongside a porter who will assist with deliveries and the handling of goods.
• Adhere to safe working practices, ensuring the safety of yourself and others at all times.
• Provide excellent face-to-face customer service at delivery locations.
• Complete all relevant vehicle checks and delivery paperwork accurately.

Our client is looking for Class 2 HGV Drivers to join their home delivery team based in Sherburn in Elmet (LS25 6JH). You will be responsible for the safe, accurate and timely delivery of products to customers at various locations.

This is an ongoing position, working Tuesday to Saturday, with 5am starts. Pay rates range from £17.51 to £23.23 per hour, offering an excellent opportunity for experienced and reliable drivers.

You will typically complete between 5 and 15 deliveries per day, depending on the route, and will have a porter working alongside you to assist with deliveries.

Successful candidates will be required to pass a DBS check.

• A positive, flexible attitude towards work, with excellent customer service skills.
• Reliability, good timekeeping and a professional approach to driving.
