Job summary

ShiftHero is seeking experienced HGV Class 2 drivers for immediate starts in the Wakefield area. Roles include trunking, multi-drop deliveries, and occasional nights out. Flexible shifts, weekly PAYE pay, and temp-to-perm opportunities are offered to suit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 2 (C) licence.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph (Tacho) entitlement.
• Good understanding of drivers hours rules and regulations.
• No more than 6 points on licence.

Responsibilities

• Transport beds frames and mattresses to customer sites.
• Push and slide goods safely and efficiently.
• Occasional 1–2 nights out per week when required.
• Ensure safe loading, securing and unloading of materials.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and accurate delivery records.
• Provide excellent customer service while representing ShiftHero.

HGV Experienced Class 1 Drivers wanted - Immediate Starts

We are seeking dedicated drivers to join our dynamic and growing team !At ShiftHero Wakefield,we are currently recruiting for Class 2 HGV Drivers for multiple prestigious clients in the Wakefield area with immediate starts.

Shift Patterns Available:

• Flexible Shifts: Enjoy a work-life balance with various shift patterns available
• Ongoing and Ad-hoc shifts available,
• Trunking, multi-drop ( 3-5 drops)
• Days - Available

Pay Rates*:

Week Days: from £16.21 (Monday - Friday)

Higher pay for: nights, weekends,nights out etc.

• Weekly PAYE pay,

The Role.

• Transport beds frames and mattresses to other businesses,
• Push and slide,
• One or two nights out ( tramping) per week when required in this role,
• Ensure safe loading, securing, and unloading of materials,
• Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate delivery records,
• Provide excellent customer service while representing company.

Qualifications & Experience.

• A valid Class 2 (C) licence entitlement
• Valid CPC & Digital Tacho
• Good understanding of drivers hours rules and regulations.
• No more than 6 points (or major endorsements).
