Job summary

XPO Logistics Ilkeston is recruiting a Cat C driver for a Monday to Friday role with early starts. You will drive modern FORS Silver vehicles, delivering pipes and pallets across the XPO network and nights out will occur up to three times per week with a £25 per night allowance.

The role offers competitive pay with overtime paid at 1.5x after 51.25 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV C licence and CPC.
• Digi card up to date.
• No more than 6 points on licence; no DD/DR/IN endorsements.
• Night outs up to 3 times per week with a £25 allowance.
• Shifts start between 04:00 and 06:00, Monday to Friday.
• Overtime paid at 1.5x after 51.25 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV C vehicles, FORS Silver compliant, for driver comfort and nights out.
• Deliver pipes and pallets to trade customers and sites within the XPO network.
• Night out allowance and paid parking where required.

Pay, Benefits And More.

You will be joining our team working out of our Ilkeston depot, and you will be working Monday to Friday with starts between 0400 and 0600. You will work with the WTD 48-hour weekly average and will expect to do 2 to 3 nights out per week. You’ll be paid monthly and the salary is £35,193.60 per year and £14.10 per hour. Overtime is paid at 1.5 rate after 51.25 hrs per week.

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day

• Working Monday to Friday driving modern vehicles with are FORS Silver complaint, and built for driver comfort and nights out
• You will be nighting out up to 3 times per week with a night out allowance of £25 and paid parking where required
• You will be delivering Pipes and pallets to trade customers and to sites and general haulage within the XPO network where required

What You Need To Succeed At XPO

• You will have valid LGV C /LGV C+E. New pass drivers considered but will need to pass a thorough driving assessment
• Up to date Digi card and CPC
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• No DD, DR or IN endorsements showing on your licence
