Job summary

XPO Logistics is seeking a professional HGV Class 2 Driver to operate from Milton Keynes, supporting the Doncaster operation. The role is a day shift with early starts (05:00–06:00), including overnight pre-loaded trunks and day routes. You will multi-drop high-end kitchens across the UK with a strong customer service focus.

The position offers a 50-hour week baseline, with overtime, a pension, and benefits such as cycle-to-work and discounts. Training and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 2 licence (Category C).
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card and CPC are required.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a professional and customer-focused HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team, operating from an outbase in Milton Keynes while working alongside our wider Doncaster operation.

This is a day role with early starts (05:00–06:00), supported by overnight trunking—your vehicle will be pre-loaded overnight, ready for your delivery routes the following day.

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day

• Multi-drop delivery of high-end kitchens to construction sites and private homes across the UK


• Completing 6–8 deliveries per day with a strong focus on customer service


• Double manning with a porter to support safe deliveries


• Using PDA scanners for accurate delivery tracking and sign-off


• Carrying out manual handling using equipment such as pump trucks and sack barrows
