Job summary

The Best Connection Hull is hiring a Warehouse Operative / Class 2 Driver (Dual Role). This role combines warehouse tasks with driving duties, offering variety and a supportive team environment for experienced drivers and newcomers alike.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30am–5:30pm (4:00pm finish on Fridays). Local Hull deliveries with occasional trips to Wigan and Tamworth; duties include picking, packing, loading, stock control and light assembly.

Qualifications

• Class 2 (C) licence is required.
• CPC is required.
• Tachograph Card is required.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• No DD/DR/IN10 on licence.
• Good geographic knowledge of HU postcodes.
• Excellent communication skills and customer-facing approach.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing orders.
• Loading/unloading vehicles.
• Stock control and put-away.
• Some assembly work as required.
• Local deliveries around Hull; occasional runs to Wigan and Tamworth.

Warehouse Operative / Class 2 Driver (Dual Role)

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative / Class 2 Driver to join our team. This is a dual-role position involving both warehouse work and driving.

Hours

• No DD,DRs or IN10's on licence
• Good geographic knowledge of HU postcodes

Driving

• Mostly local deliveries around Hull
• Occasional runs to Wigan and Tamworth
• Novice drivers considered

Warehouse Duties

• Picking and packing orders
• Loading/unloading vehicles
• Stock control and put-away
• Some assembly work as required
