Job summary

The Best Connection – Hull is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Class 2 Driver to join our growing team in Hull. This dual-role position combines warehouse work with driving duties, primarily local deliveries around Hull, with occasional trips to Wigan and Tamworth.

We welcome applicants with varying levels of driving experience, including novices, and provide a supportive environment. Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm, with Friday 4:00pm finish.

Qualifications

• Class 2 Licence, CPC and Tachograph Card are required.
• Licence points: no more than 6; no DD/DR/IN10 on licence.
• Good knowledge of HU postcodes and local area.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Local deliveries around Hull with occasional runs to Wigan and Tamworth.
• Dual-role duties: warehouse work (picking/packing, loading/unloading, stock control) and driving.
• Some assembly work as required; emphasises that this is a warehouse/driver role, not driving-only.

Warehouse Operative / Class 2 Driver (Dual Role)

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative / Class 2 Driver to join our team. This is a dual-role position involving both warehouse work and driving.

Hours:

Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm (4:00pm finish on Fridays)

Driver requirements:

• Class 2 (C) Licence
• CPC
• Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 points on licence
• No DD,DRs or IN10's on licence
• Good geographic knowledge of HU postcodes
• Excellent communication skills
• Customer facing

Driving:

• Mostly local deliveries around Hull
• Occasional runs to Wigan and Tamworth
• Novice drivers considered

Warehouse Duties:

• Picking and packing orders
• Loading/unloading vehicles
• Stock control and put-away
• Some assembly work as required
