Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting a Class 2 driver for a temporary role based out of Birtley. You will deliver chilled and frozen foods to various clients with multi-drop runs and manual handling. The role requires a Class 2 license and is paid PAYE at £17.52 per hour, with a 45-hour week starting at 07:00.

The Best Connection are proud to be working with our client based in Birtley, who are a leading food wholesaler and distributor.

They are currently looking for a class 2 driver to help them meet demands.

In this role you will be doing:

• Delivery of chilled and frozen foods to a range of clients
• Multi drop deliveries
• Handballing
• The role will involve heavy lifting
• Class 2 driver

This Class 2 driver role is offered on a PAYE basis, at the following rate:

• £17.52 per hour

Hours of work:

• Start time 0700
• Working week 45 hours

The work is offered on a temporary basis based out of Birtley.

As the client delivers to schools and prisons successful candidates will be required to undertake a DBS check, which is paid for by The Best Connection.
