Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Class 2 HGV Driver in Exeter. You will deliver goods safely and on time, following drivers’ hours rules and company procedures. Join a leading global logistics team with varied benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid HGV Class 1/2 driving licence (C) and Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card is required.
• Preferably with six months’ driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive in a safe, efficient manner in line with drivers’ hours regulations.
• Comply with health and safety standards and The Highway Code.
• Conduct regular vehicle checks and complete duties accurately.
• Handle customer products with care and professionalism.

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Wednesday - Sunday 6am - 6pm

Location: Exeter EX1 3QN

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products

this Role Would Suit People Who

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 / 2 Driving License (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ideally have 6 months recent driving experience - will consider newly qualified drivers
