Job summary

Driver Hire Manchester in Dingwall is seeking a Class 2 driver ready to gain a HIAB licence through on‑the‑job training. The role involves delivering building materials across the local area with no evenings or overnight stays.

You will complete around 14 drops per day, perform daily vehicle checks, and ensure loads are secured safely. Training will be provided, with permanent placement potential for the right person.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Licence required.
• Maximum 6 penalty points (no DR, TT, or IN convictions).
• Hiab training provided if required.

Class 2 Driver opportunity to gain HIAB Ticket

We are currently recruiting a Class 2 Driver with the willingness to gain their HIAB licence for an ongoing role based in Dingwall. This is a fantastic opportunity that could lead to permanent employment with our client for the right candidate. Offering no evenings or overnight stays. This is a varied, hands‑on role delivering building materials to customers across the local area. Safety, reliability and excellent customer service are key, and no previous HIAB experience is required as full training will be provided.

Monday to Fridays
Approx. 44.5 hours per week
Hiab Training provided
Class 2 rate – £16.50 ph with £18.75 OT paid after 8 hours worked
Class 2 Hiab rate – £17.50 ph with £20.25 OT paid after 8 hours worked
(Hiab rate paid once you have Hiab Ticket)
Ongoing role – leading to Permanent placement for right person
