Job summary

Driver Hire East Kilbride is seeking a committed Class 2 Driver to join our busy building materials distribution team in East Kilbride on a permanent basis. You will deliver materials, load/unload safely, and maintain accurate delivery documentation while upholding our safety standards.

The role offers a permanent contract, 42.5 hours per week, and a £33,900 annual salary with a £400 quarterly bonus and potential for a branch bonus. HIAB training is provided to support your progression.

Qualifications

• Qualified and experienced Class 2 (LGV Cat C) driver.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
• Customer-focused with a professional approach.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.
• Experience in building materials distribution preferred but not essential.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm, plus every second Saturday 8:00am-12:00pm

Contract: Permanent

We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join a busy building materials distribution team on a permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 2 driver looking to join a well-established business, with HIAB training provided for the right candidate.

The Role

• Deliver building materials to customers and sites
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
• Operate the vehicle responsibly and in line with company procedures
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations
• Complete relevant paperwork and delivery documentation
• Work closely with the branch and warehouse teams

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 7:30am-5:00pm
• Every second Saturday: 8:00am-12:00pm
• 42.5 hours per week

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Interested in developing their skills through HIAB training
