Job summary

Driver Hire Inverness is seeking a regional relief Class 2 Driver with the willingness to gain a HIAB licence for a permanent role covering Inverness and surrounding areas. The position offers a competitive salary (£40,000 pa) plus a monthly allowance and a driver bonus scheme, with full-time hours and excellent benefits.

Typical duties include operating a HIAB, safe loading/unloading, delivering building materials, and maintaining high safety standards while delivering a high level of customer

Qualifications

• Requires HGV licence and CPC with Digital Tachograph.
• Willingness to gain HIAB licence for the role.
• No evenings or weekends as part of the contract.

Responsibilities

• Operate a HIAB (training provided if required).
• Load and unload deliveries safely.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Secure loads in line with safety regulations.
• Conduct daily vehicle and equipment checks.
• Complete delivery paperwork and maintain compliance.
• Maintain high health and safety standards at all times.
