Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking a Class 2 Driver in Longtown to perform multi‑drop pallet deliveries across local areas. You will handle loading/unloading and complete accurate paperwork, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am starts, full-time, with weekly pay and a temp‑to‑perm route for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience.
• Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop pallet deliveries across local and surrounding areas.
• Carry out around 5–10 deliveries per day.
• Load and unload deliveries when required.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client based in Longtown. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking driver looking for long-term employment with the potential to secure a permanent position.

The Role

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Completing multi-drop pallet deliveries across local and surrounding areas
• Carrying out around 5-10 deliveries per day
• Loading and unloading deliveries when required
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and maintaining accurate paperwork
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am start
• Full-time hours
• £15.00 per hour

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 2 driving experience

• The ability to carry out physical work and assist with loading/unloading when required
