Job summary

Berry Recruitment in Surrey is seeking 2 experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to support a busy seasonal leafing operation across the county. The role combines HGV driving with physical leaf clearance and outdoor maintenance tasks.

Applicants must hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence and CPC, with proven driving experience and the ability to work as part of a team. Induction is on Friday 4 September 2026 at 08:30; start date is Monday 7 September.

Qualifications

HGV Class 2 Driver – Seasonal Leafing Operative

Location: Surrey, GU15 3DF
Contract: Temporary / Seasonal
Duration: 7 September – 31 December 2026
Hours: Monday–Friday, 07:30–16:00
Pay: £17.67 per hour

The Role

We are looking for 2 experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to support a busy seasonal leafing operation across Surrey.

The role involves HGV driving alongside physical leaf clearance and outdoor maintenance duties.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence and CPC.
• Previous HGV driving experience – no newly passed drivers.
• Must be available to start Monday 7 September – no drivers working notice periods.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work.
• Reliable and able to work as part of a team.
• Own high-visibility clothing and safety boots required.
• Successful candidates will be subject to Drug & Alcohol testing.
