Job summary

Berry Recruitment is seeking an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver / Loader to join our client’s busy operations in Camberley (GU15). This temp ongoing role offers a pay rate of £16.14 per hour and Monday–Friday, 06:30–15:00 start times.

You will drive a Class 2 HGV safely, assist with loading and unloading, maintain vehicle checks, and ensure loads are secure and paperwork is completed accurately. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety‑conscious, a strong team player with good communication skills

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) HGV licence.
• Driver CPC and tachograph card.
• Experience driving Class 2 vehicles.
• Knowledge of road safety and HGV regulations.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 HGV in a safe and responsible manner.
• Carry out vehicle checks before and after journeys.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Ensure loads are secure and handled correctly.
• Follow planned routes and schedules.
• Complete relevant delivery, collection and vehicle paperwork.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
• Work closely with colleagues and operational teams.
• Report any vehicle defects, incidents or issues promptly.
• Carry out general loading and operational duties as required.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a Class 2 HGV safely and efficiently, while also assisting with loading and unloading duties. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who is reliable, safety‑conscious and comfortable working as part of a team.

About You

• Is physically fit and comfortable carrying out loading and unloading duties.
• Is reliable, punctual and professional.
• Can work independently while also being a strong team player.
• Has a positive attitude and good communication skills.
