As a Driver/Loader at FCC Environment, you will be responsible for operating a refuse/recycling vehicle up to 26 tonnes and collecting waste as part of a team. You will ensure all health and safety protocols are followed while managing a crew of up to three loaders.

This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week.

What will you be doing?
•Driving a refuse/recycling vehicle up to 26 tonnes
•Collecting and transporting waste, including food and recyclables
•Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at council tipping points
•Managing daily vehicle checks and maintenance reports
•Leading a crew of up to three loaders
•Reporting incidents, assisted collections, and route discrepancies

What are we looking for?
•Valid Category C driving licence
•Valid digital tachograph card
•Minimum 35 hours Driver CPC training completed
•Physically fit due to the nature of the work
•Reliable and trustworthy
•Ability to manage a team and follow procedures
•Previous waste industry experience (preferred but not essential)
•Knowledge of the area (advantageous but not essential)
