The Best Connection is recruiting a Class 2/7.5T driver for routes in Ashford and surrounding areas. You will deliver DIY products to both commercial and domestic customers, ensuring on-time, safe handovers and excellent service on every drop.

Role requires a valid 7.5T/Class 2 license with CPC, local route knowledge, and a proactive, customer-focused attitude. Training and ongoing support provided; regular work with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid 7.5T/Class 2 driving license (C1/C category) with CPC qualification.
• Previous experience as a 7.5T or Class 2 driver, preferably in delivery roles.
• Knowledge of local road networks and routes.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 7.5T vehicle, adhering to traffic and safety regulations.
• Load and unload DIY products with porter assistance, ensuring secure transport.
• Plan delivery routes to maximise productivity and minimise delays.
• Provide outstanding customer service during deliveries, remaining professional.
• Verify order accuracy and complete required paperwork.
• Report vehicle maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
• Collaborate with warehouse team for loading and stock management.
• Maintain a clean, well-organised vehicle with regular safety checks.

Salary: GBP14.43 - GBP32.69 per hour

At The Best Connection, we are currently recruiting for7.5T/Class 2 driversfor a company that delivertop-quality DIY products to both commercial and domestic customers. We are looking for drivers to cover sites in Ashford and Gillingham

Position Overview
As aCat C Driver,you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their DIY products on time and in perfect condition. You will be responsible for both commercial and domestic deliveries, using your driving skills and exceptional customer service to represent the company in a positive light.

Pay Rates

Class 2

Monday - Friday up to 8 hours - £16.35

Monday to Friday over 8 hours - £24.52 per hour

Saturday - £24.52 per hour

Sunday and Bank Holidays - £32.69 per hour

Monday - Friday up to 8 hours- £14.43 per hour

Monday to Friday over 8 hours - £21.65 per hour

Saturday - £21.65 per hour

Sunday and Bank Holidays - £28.86 per hour

You need to be able to commit to more than just weekend work to be eligible.

Key Responsibilities
