Job summary

Driver Hire Ashford is seeking reliable 7.5 Tonne Drivers (C1) for ongoing work based in Ashford. You will deliver furniture, kitchens, bathrooms, and other home improvement goods to residential addresses as part of a two-person delivery crew.

The role includes vehicle checks, delivery paperwork, and ensuring safe, efficient deliveries with enhanced Saturday pay and a steady weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C1 (7.5 Tonne) licence is required.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• Minimum of 60 days driving in the last 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Regular ongoing work, 3-4 days per week.
• Saturday working available with enhanced pay rates.
• Deliver home improvement, DIY and household products to residential addresses.
• Work as part of a two-man delivery team.
• Complete vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.

Schedule: Regular 3-4 days per week, including Saturdays (enhanced Saturday pay rates) | Start times: 0700 or 1100. Average 8 hour shift.

Driver Hire Ashford is recruiting reliable and customer-focused 7.5 Tonne Drivers (C1) for regular ongoing work based in Ashford. This is an excellent opportunity to secure consistent work with a well-established home improvement and DIY retailer, delivering a wide range of products including furniture, kitchens, bathrooms, garden equipment, decorating supplies, tools and building materials.

You'll work as part of a two-person delivery crew, making residential deliveries and providing excellent customer service at every stop.

Your Role
