Job summary

We Are Workforce Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 driver for an on-going role at the Normanton depot. The role involves refrigerated multi-drop deliveries with some tail-lift work and cage handling. Immediate starts after induction are available.

Shifts include early starts from 02:00–04:00, with day and night pay rates listed. Candidates should have a Cat C licence, a Digi CPC card, and be able to drive within WTD and EU rules.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of Class 2 driving experience required.
• UK Driving Licence with Cat C entitlement.
• Digi & CPC Card with no more than 6 points for minor offences.

Responsibilities

• Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicle checks.
• Refueling vehicles.
• Multi drop deliveries.
• Manual handling of trolleys.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and ensure orders are fulfilled on time and in full.

Class 2 Driver - Normanton

We are currently recruiting for experiencedHGV Class 2driverson an on-goingbasis to meet the needs of the business at our busyNormantondepot.The role consists of refrigerated Multi drop deliveries to stores. The role involves cage deliveries of milk and at some locations you are required to use a tail-lift to push and pull products being delivered.

Immediate starts after successful assessment and Induction.

Shift and Start Time available:

• Monday to Friday 02:00-04:00

Day pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £16.46 (overtime after 47.5hrs £18.52)
• Saturday £18.52
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £24.69

Nights pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £18.81 (overtime after 47.5hrs £20.86)
• Saturday £20.86
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £27.03

30-minute break deducted per shift only!

Day to day duties will include the following:

• Driving with-in the WTD and EU regs and rules.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicles checks.
• Refueling vehicles.
• Multi drop deliveries.
• Manual Handling trolleys
• The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:

• At least 6 Months of Class two driving experience required.
• Excellent Communication skills.
