Job summary

Booker Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a part-time delivery driver to join our local delivery team. You will be on the road three days a week, building relationships with regular customers and ensuring timely, accurate deliveries.

You will load stock at the branch, unload at customer premises, and complete paperwork. A CatC / 18T (Class 2) licence and at least two years driving experience are required, with delivery experience preferred and strong numeracy and literacy skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Good level of literacy and numeracy.
• Previous driving experience (at least two years).
• Delivery driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch and unload at customer premises.

Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service.

This role is a part time role, working 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday)

Main Responsibilities

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You’ll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You’ll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

CatC / 18T Licence / Class 2

Previous experience of driving (at least two years)

Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred

Ability to carry out manual deliveries

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude

Good level of literacy and numeracy
