Job summary

Booker Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a locally focused delivery driver to join a customer‑facing team. You will drive locally, build strong relationships with regular customers and ensure timely, high‑quality service as a vital part of daily operations.

The role involves loading and unloading, completing paperwork, and working across a 7‑day pattern which may include weekends. CPC and driving experience are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Cat C / 18T Licence / Class 2 is required for the role.
• Previous delivery driving experience is preferred.
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries to customers.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Good level of literacy and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver locally and build relationships with regular customers.
• Ensure customers receive deliveries on time with good service.
• Load stock into the vehicle and unload at customer premises, complete paperwork accurately.

Do you want more local driving and be a valued member of a delivery team? This may be the role for you. You will enjoy a varied role driving locally as well as building relationships with our regular customers.

Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service.

This is a 7 day operation, our shift patternsmay include some weekend working.

Main Responsibilities

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You’ll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You’ll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

Cat C / 18T Licence / Class 2

Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred

Ability to carry out manual deliveries

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude

Good level of literacy and numeracy
