Job summary

Driver Hire Southampton is seeking a Class 2 driver for a delivery role, transporting drinks and snacks to airport lounges. The role starts with 7:00am-8:30am shifts on weekdays and includes a 12-week temp-to-perm pathway. A driver’s mate assists with loading/unloading, and strict DBS checks apply.

Applicants should have a full UK Cat C licence, CPC and Digi Tacho, and be prepared for heavy lifting. Onsite parking and training are provided, with ongoing support from our team.

Driver Hire Southampton is currently seeking a Class 2 driver to join our team for a delivery role with our client. The position involves transporting drinks and snacks to airport lounges.

Our client is looking for an individual with excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as the ability to handle tasks with patience and professionalism. Successful candidates will be required to undergo security and DBS checks.

The role

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00am-8:30am start times (on average a 10 hour day)
• 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity
• Deliveries on cages, with a driver's mate assisting with loading/unloading
• Security and DBS checks required

You’ll need

• Full UK Cat C licence
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
• Class 2 experience preferred, but newly qualified drivers welcome
• Maximum 0 points/endorsements
• 5 years' continuous employment history

• Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
