Job summary

Berry Recruitment are seeking an experienced Class 2 driver for a reputable Ely-based company. The position is temp to perm, based at the depot in Ely, with hours from 06:30 to 14:30 and potential earlier starts. You will drive rear-steer dust carts, twin packs, sweepers and tail lifts, and assist with bin loading when needed.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months in a similar role, are physically fit, reside near Ely, and have no more than 6 points on their licence. Weekly pay is offered.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months' experience in a similar role.
• You should be physically fit as the role requires walking and getting in and out of the cab while helping with bin loading.

Responsibilities

• Drive Dust Carts, Twin Packs, Sweepers and Tail Lifts (rear steer).
• Assist colleagues with bin loading outside the cab as required.
• Work hours 06:30–14:30, with potential earlier start.

The role is Temp to Perm working from the depot based in Ely.

Responsibilities

• The hours will be from 06:30 - 14:30, there is the possibility to start earlier.
• You will be working on Dust Carts, Twin Packs, Sweepers and Tail Lifts.
• All vehicles are rear steer.
• You will be driving the vehicles but you are expected to get out of the vehicle to help your colleagues with the bin loading.

You should have

• At least 6 months' experience in a similar role - assessments and training will be given.
• You should be physically fit as the role requires walking and getting in and out of the cab whilst helping with the bin loading.
• You should live relatively local to Ely to ensure you are able to get there.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
