Job summary

Gi Group in Coleshill is seeking an experienced Class 2 driver to join our logistics team. The role offers £17.37 per hour including holiday pay, paid weekly, with a minimum of 10 hours guaranteed per shift.

Responsibilities include 3–8 pallet drops per day, use of a PDA, and occasional handball. CPC and Digi-Tacho are required, with no more than 6 penalty points.

Qualifications

• In date UK class 2 licence with 6months experience minimum.
• Current CPC and Digi Tacho
• Previous multi drop experience preferred
• Well presented and good customer service essential
• Willingness to load and unload using pallet truck
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DD/DR/CU/MS/IN,TT accepted)

Class 2 rate:

• £17.37 per hour including holiday pay in advance (PAYE only, no umbrellas)
• Minimum 10 hours guaranteed

Class 2 shifts:

• Monday to Friday
• 04:00-07:00 starts

Class 2 Key Duties:

• 3 - 8 drops per day of pallets.
• Use of PDA Machine is required.
• Handball maybe required from time to time.
• National & Local deliveries are expected.

Class 2 Driver Requirements and skills:

• In date, UK, class 2 licence with 6months experience minimum
• Current and Valid CPC and Digi Tacho
• Previous multi drop experience is preferred
• Well presented and good customer service essential
• Willingness to load and unload using pallet truck
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DD/DR/CU/MS/IN,TT accepted)
• Onsite parking
