Job summary

Perm Resource is seeking an experienced Class 2 Container Driver for a full-time, ongoing role in Bradford. You will handle container deliveries and collections on day shifts, with a focus on safety, reliability and professional service.

Expect thorough pre-shift checks, accurate paperwork and compliance with driver hours regulations. Shifts start early, typically between 05:00 and 08:00, with average shifts around 13 hours and some up to 15 hours.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C (Class 2) licence held for driving operations.
• Minimum 12 months' Class 2 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 2 container vehicles to deliveries and collections.
• Complete vehicle checks before each shift.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and promptly.

Class 2 Container Driver - DAYS (£15.50 per hour)

We're looking for an experienced Class 2 Container Driver to join our team on a full-time, ongoing basis. If you're a reliable, safety‑conscious driver looking for consistent daytime work, we'd like to hear from you.

You'll be driving modern Class 2 vehicles, completing container deliveries and collections while providing a professional service and ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.

The Role

• Day shifts with start times between 05:00 and 08:00
• Class 2 container deliveries and collections
• Minimal handball – primarily driving duties
• Complete vehicle checks before each shift
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely and on time
• Accurately complete delivery paperwork and vehicle records
• Follow all road traffic, driver hours and health & safety regulations
• Report any vehicle defects or incidents promptly

Requirements

• Valid Category C (Class 2) licence
• Minimum 12 months' Class 2 driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of driver hours and road transport legislation
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work
