Job summary

Manpower UK in Normanton is recruiting for a Class 2 (Category C) driver on a temp-to-perm basis. Work Monday to Friday with 6:00 AM starts for day shifts or midnight starts for night shifts, average 8–10 hours.

Training is provided and a valid Category C licence is essential. You will handle multi‑drop deliveries and collections between customer sites, including installing and collecting specialist equipment such as Peloton bikes and Coca‑Cola vending machines, using handheld scanners and

Qualifications

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• A valid Driver CPC.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• No DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
• Good knowledge of the UK road network.
• Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• A good level of physical fitness, as heavy lifting is involved.

This Class 2 (Category C) role based in Normanton offers a temporary position with the potential to become permanent. Working Monday to Friday, drivers start at 6:00 AM for day shifts averaging eight to ten hours, or from midnight on nights. Pay ranges from £15.21 hourly during the day to £17.24 at night. Successful candidates will operate as part of a two-person crew, handling multi-drop deliveries and collections between customer sites. Duties include delivering, installing and collecting specialist equipment, so care and customer service matter. Full training is provided. A valid Category C licence is essential for this driving post.
