Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting Class 2 Dustcart Drivers to join a well-established waste management company in Bedford. Newly qualified drivers welcome; gain experience, build confidence, and progress toward a permanent role.

Regular weekday shifts start early and finish around 15:30, with weekly pay and a competitive basic rate. You will drive a Class 2 refuse vehicle on designated routes, collect household and commercial waste, perform daily vehicle checks, and follow health and safety

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence
• Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph card
• No more than 6 penalty points
• Reliable, positive attitude and safe driving commitment

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 refuse vehicle on designated routes
• Collect household and commercial waste
• Work with a supportive crew
• Complete daily vehicle checks
• Follow health and safety procedures to complete routes safely

Interaction Recruitment is looking for Class 2 Dustcart Drivers to join a well-established waste management company in Bedford.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

• £17.01 per hour basic rate

• Overtime rates of up to £34.02 per hour

• Monday–Friday working – enjoy your weekends!

• 06:00 starts, with finishes around 15:30

THE ROLE

• Driving a Class 2 refuse vehicle on designated routes

• Collecting household and commercial waste

• Working alongside a supportive crew

• Completing daily vehicle checks

• Following health and safety procedures and ensuring routes are completed safely

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence

• Driver CPC qualification

• Digital Tachograph card

• No more than 6 penalty points

• A reliable, positive attitude and a commitment to safe driving
