Job summary

CSG is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team in Aylesford. The role involves collecting non-hazardous waste in a Class 2 Vehicle, with heavy lifting and occasional nights out. You will advise and communicate with customers and maintain accurate driver paperwork.

Qualifications

HGV Class 1 driving experience and Digi-card.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to handle paperwork and basic IT tasks.
Flexible approach to the role.
Willing to work nights out when required.
Experience in waste sector preferred with training provided.

Responsibilities

Drive a Class 2 Vehicle? (use text from ad) The driver will be collecting non-hazardous waste in a Class 2 Vehicle.
Daily duties involve some heavy lifting.
Must be willing to spend nights out away on the odd occasion.
Advising & communicating with customers.
Averaging 40 hours a week, plus overtime.
Ensure that all driver related paperwork is completed accurately and submitted on time.
Raise any issues, problems, or concerns with your Line Manager at the earliest opportunity.
Deal with Customers in a manner that retains their loyalty to the Company and delivers an outstanding service.
Ensure compliance with the Group's Health and Safety policy and behaviours.
Drive and operate Company vehicles and equipment in a professional, safe and legal manner.
