Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is seeking a Class 2 ADR delivery driver based in Ivybridge. You will operate a Class 2 vehicle to deliver cylinders, conduct safety checks, and ensure timely, accurate deliveries across local routes.

The role requires a valid UK Class 2 licence with Driver CPC, a Digital Tachograph card, and gas ADR (2) packaging accreditation. Multi-drop experience is advantageous and a professional customer-facing approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 2 (C) licence with a current Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph card is required.
• ADR licence in gas (2) packages is required.
• Experience driving HGV Class 2 multi-drop deliveries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 vehicle to deliver cylinders on local routes.
• Carry out pre-start checks and ensure vehicle is roadworthy.
• Load, secure, and unload cylinders following safety procedures.
• Maintain delivery records and complete paperwork accurately.
• Provide professional service to customers and meet delivery specs.
• Report defects, incidents or delays to the transport team promptly.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 vehicle to deliver cylinders safely and efficiently across local routes.
• Complete pre-start checks and ensure the vehicle is roadworthy before departure.
• Load, secure, and unload cylinders in line with safe handling procedures.
• Follow all relevant transport regulations, company policies, and site requirements.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and complete paperwork correctly.
• Provide a professional service to customers, ensuring deliveries are completed to specification.
• Report any defects, incidents, or delays promptly to the transport team.
• Drive responsibly with due care for pedestrians, other road users, and site personnel.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 2 (C) licence with a current Driver CPC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph card.

• Experience driving HGV Class 2 vehicles (cylinder or similar multi-drop delivery experience is advantageous).
• Strong knowledge of UK road safety and compliance with driving regulations.
