Job summary

GXO Logistics in Warrington is seeking a full-time 7.5T Delivery Driver to join our Home Delivery team. You will work a rotating 3-week schedule with early start times and be responsible for delivering products to warehouses and stores.

• Carry out pre- and post-journey vehicle checks and report any defects.

Here atGXO Logistics, we are looking for a full-time, permanent7.5T Delivery Driver,to join our Home Delivery team inWarrington, WA2 7NT.

You’ll be working on a full time, permanent basis on a 3 week rotating shift pattern: Week 1, Monday to Thursday. Week 2, Wednesday to Saturday. Week 3, split Monday/Tuesday then Friday/Saturday (4 working days) contracted to work48 hoursper week, with the start time window between04:30 and 06:00you will be responsible for delivering products to warehouses and stores.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle in full compliance with road traffic and vehicle legislation
• Deliver products to designated warehouses and stores ensuring all items are handled correctly. Some hand balling involved
• Collect and accurately log product returns during deliveries
• Complete tachographs in compliance with legal and company requirements
• Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle checks and promptly report any defects
• Ensuring the vehicle and stock are always properly secured

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full UK driving licence with category 7.5T entitlement
• A valid Driver Qualification Card
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
• Excellent Time management skills and comfortable in working to deadlines, excellent communication and customer service skills are essential
