Job summary

RecruitMe in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Class 1 Welder/Fabricator to join a well-established international engineering business. This permanent day-shift role offers high-quality work, long-term stability and a competitive package.

You'll read and interpret isometric drawings, fabricate to detailed technical drawings, and work with metric and imperial measurements. Experience with carbon steel and ASME IX / ISO 15614 is required; a full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven Class 1 Welder/Fabricator/Plater with relevant certifications.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Pressure Vessel, Pipefitting or heavy engineering.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work from metric/imperial measurements.
• UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality welded and fabricated components to demanding engineering standards.
• Read and interpret isometric and engineering drawings.
• Fabricate components accurately from detailed technical drawings.
• Work with metric and imperial measurements.
• Carry out Class 1 / ISO 3834 fabrication and welding (where applicable).
• Read and adhere to Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Maintain high standards of quality, workmanship and safety.
