Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an enthusiastic Welder/Fabricator to join the team in delivering metal work to precise specifications. You will fabricate and fit components for frames, pipe supports and pressure vessels, reading drawings and ensuring high-quality finishes.

Role requires knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques, ability to work safely on site and alongside a team, with EN287-1 qualification preferred for pressure systems work.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques.
• Competent in welding processes, flame cutting, plasma cutting, angle grinding, polishing.
• Qualified to EN287-1 for working on pressure systems.
• Must be able to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Weld to high spec on sheet metal, tubing, plate and structural steelwork.
• Install or repair equipment such as pipes, old sheet, plate, valves and process equipment.
• Welded fabrications to be built and welded to customer design and specification e.g. metal furniture, seating, balconies, stairways.
• Fabricate tubing, frames, angle, box etc. from drawings.
• Comply with site rules and company standards.
• Comply with hot work controls when undertaking hot work activities.
• Wear PPE correctly and maintain hygiene.
• Present completed jobs to a high standard.
• Work in a safe professional manner.
• Perform other tasks as directed by Line Manager
