Winner Recruitment in Widnes is seeking an experienced Class 1 Walking Floor Driver to join our transport operation. You will operate Class 1 Walking Floor vehicles on planned routes and perform daily checks.

This full-time, temp-to-perm role offers weekly pay, ongoing work, and progression opportunities after 13 weeks in a supportive team with a well-maintained fleet. Immediate starts available for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence holder.
• Walking Floor experience preferred.
• Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of driver regulations and road transport legislation.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 Walking Floor vehicles across planned routes.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and defect reporting procedures.
• Deliver and collect loads efficiently while maintaining excellent safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with tachograph, driving hours, and transport legislation.
• Complete all relevant paperwork and delivery documentation accurately.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism when representing the business.
