Job summary

Driver Hire Bristol is actively recruiting professional Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers for trunking and RDC deliveries across the South West and beyond. This ad-hoc role offers day and night shifts, flexible schedules, and weekly PAYE pay with opportunities for ongoing work.

Applicants should hold a Full UK Class 1 licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph cards, and have a minimum of 6 months of Class 1 experience. Previous trunking/RDC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 1 (Category C+E) licence is required.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph cards are required.
• Minimum of 6 months Class 1 driving experience is essential.
• Previous trunking or RDC delivery experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of Drivers' Hours, Working Time, and Tachograph regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete Class 1 trunking and RDC deliveries.
• Move loaded trailers between depots, distribution centres, and customer sites.
• Carry out trailer swaps where required.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and delivery paperwork accurately.
• Ensure compliance with Drivers' Hours, Working Time, and Tachograph regulations.
• Local and regional routes with both day and night shifts.

Driver Hire Bristol is recruiting for professional Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers to support a busy transport operation carrying out trunking and RDC deliveries across the South West and beyond. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers looking for flexible ad-hoc work, with a variety of day or night shifts available.

The Role:

• Complete Class 1 trunking and RDC deliveries
• Move loaded trailers between depots, distribution centres, and customer sites
• Carry out trailer swaps where required
• Complete daily vehicle checks and delivery paperwork accurately
• Ensure compliance with Drivers' Hours, Working Time, and Tachograph regulations
• Minimal manual handling, with the majority of loads loaded and unloaded by forklift
• Local and regional routes available
• Ad-hoc day and night shifts to suit business requirements
