To join the Warburtons family, you’ll need an LGV Cat C+E driving licence with no more than 6 points. You should have a good knowledge of transport legislation and tachographs, be reliable, responsible, and experienced in a trunking role.

The Recipe

• Be supported with an induction, support from in-house driver training teams, SAFED, and ongoing CPC. Your Driver CPC training is during work hours, not outside of them.
• You’ll work set contracted hours starting at 8am, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, which will hopefully help you plan your life around work more easily.
• Your knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance, mechanical knowledge (to relay faults on defect forms), and transport legislation (Driver Hours, WTD, Highway Code) will be key for a smooth and safe day.
• Enjoy plenty of freedom. As a driver, you’ll assist in loading and unloading your trailer – working safely is a key priority for us, so you’ll be
• compliant with Health and Safety, quality, food safety, and accident reporting procedures to achieve an accident-free workplace – and you’re off!
• As you’ll deliver to our depots and customer RDCs, you’ll provide a quality service, develop strong relationships, exceed expectations, and occasionally manage confrontation calmly and professionally, acting as an ambassador for our brand and living our values.
