The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking a Class 1 Tramper Driver to join a long-established family-run haulage firm near Morpeth. This role involves UK-wide tramping, typically Monday to Friday, on a modern fleet with Chipliner trailers and a focus on timely deliveries.

You will be paid £17.00 per hour with paid breaks, and weekend overtime is available to boost take-home pay, with benefits including weekly pay and dedicated support.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card required.
• New pass drivers considered; Class 1 experience preferred.
• Reliable and professional, able to stay away overnight.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 tractors with Chipliner trailers across the UK.
• Operate on a Monday to Friday schedule with typical tramping.
• Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining vehicle care standards.
• Adopt a professional approach to overnight stays when required.
