Job summary

Pollock Scotrans Ltd. is expanding its driving team and recruiting experienced Class 1 Tramper Drivers on a Monday to Friday pattern. You will perform nationwide timber deliveries/collections, ensuring loads are secured and vehicle safety checks are completed daily.

The role requires staying away from home four nights per week, with extra £100 weekly for tramping and weekend overtime at enhanced rates. Training and benefits accompany a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Good geographical knowledge and ability to work to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Drive nationwide deliveries and collections of timber using curtain-side or flat bed trailers.
• Complete comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks.
• Maintain regular communication with transport team and provide progress updates.
• Stay away from home for four nights per week with an additional £100 weekly for tramping.
• Attend training sessions to stay up-to-date with industry standards.
