Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking a dedicated HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our Birmingham team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will deliver across the UK with regular nights out, supported by a comprehensive benefits package and ongoing training opportunities.

The role requires a UK-class 1 licence (C+E), tachograph cards, and a clean driving record. Salary is competitive, with a monthly night-out bonus and overtime after 45 hours.

Qualifications

• Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential.
• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement.
• Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards.
• No more than 6 current penalty points.
• DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out multidrop deliveries to retail spaces and collect returns from stores.
• Handle palletised goods and cages, ensuring safe loading/unloading procedures.
• Maintain clear communication with the Depot Transport Office and deliver excellent customer service.
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner with timely completion of documents.
