Leyton-based engineerings specialist, Ltek Recruitment Ltd, is helping a client in Peterborough recruit a Class 1 TIG Welder for its high-integrity pipework production team.

The role focuses on TIG welding of stainless and carbon steel pipework and assemblies, reading weld procedures and drawings, and delivering high-quality welds to exacting standards in a day-shift, permanent position.

Qualifications

• Class 1 TIG welding experience is essential.
• Experience with high-integrity pipework fabrication.
• Able to read engineering drawings and weld procedures.

Responsibilities

• Class 1 TIG welding of pipework and fabricated assemblies.
• Welds to high quality and specification.
• Operate from engineering drawings and weld procedures.
• Inspect and check completed work to ensure quality.
• Work with experienced fabrication and engineering teams.
