Driver Hire York & Harrogate seeks an experienced HGV Driver (Class 1) based in Pocklington to deliver bulk liquids nationwide. Monday to Friday with Nights Out as required. Temp to Perm via agency, then transfer to client after 12 weeks. Competitive salary and benefits available.

Role involves loading, delivering, paperwork, and compliance with transport laws. Requires Class 1 licence with minimal points, CPC, Tachograph Card, and strong safety focus. On-site parking provided.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence required with <=6 points.
• Tachograph Card required.
• Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) required.
• Good understanding of Driver Transport Legislation.
• Strong safety focus.
• Night Out availability Mon-Fri.
• Class 1 HGV experience essential.
• Tanker experience desirable.
• Attention to detail and experience completing paperwork.
• Team player and willingness to go above and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Drive a modern unit and trailer to deliver bulk and multidrop products nationwide.
• Load tanker/trailer with product as required.
• Discharge product and complete relevant paperwork.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks.
• Keep vehicle clean and tidy.
• Comply with drivers hours and working time regulations.
• Follow customer and company guidelines and processes.
