Job summary

Woodside Logistics Group is seeking a qualified HGV driver for our Manchester operation. You will undertake delivery and collection of products for Woodside Tankfreight, handling food and non-food items for major blue-chip customers.

The role requires a valid C+E licence, CPC, digital tachograph card, and tanker experience. Training is provided by dedicated Driver Trainers to ensure compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• C+E licence with at least 12 months class 1 driving experience.
• Digital tachograph card and Driver CPC qualification.
• ADR in Tanks and Tanker driving experience.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and WTD regulations.

Responsibilities

• Delivery and collection of products to customer premises.

• Adhering to current legal and best-practice driving standards.

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for HGV drivers that hold a C+E licence to join our team at our operation in Manchester. You will be undertaking the delivery & collection of products on behalf of Woodside Tankfreight and its customers.

Job Description:

The role requires General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice, delivering and collection to/from our customers’ premises.

Loading and delivering of food / non-food grade goods on behalf of major blue-chip companies.

Full and ongoing training will be provided by our team of dedicated Driver Trainers.

Pay rates:

Competitive rates

A full UK C+E licence (essential) Digital tachograph card and driver's CPC qualification card.

Minimum of 12 months previous class 1 driving

Able to maintain a good standard of driving.

Clean license preferable but up to a maximum 6 points is acceptable.

Able to demonstrate right to work in the UK.

Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and WTD regulations.

Current ADR in Tanks.

Minimum of 12 months previous class 1 Tanker driving experience.

Full induction and training on all aspects of the role is provided on a one-on-one basis with one of our Driver Trainers.
