Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting LGV CE / HGV Class 1 Drivers for a Knottingley site. This temp-to-perm role offers guaranteed hours and competitive pay with training for tanker operations.

You will deliver bulk oil nationwide, perform vehicle checks, and join a team with long-term career prospects. Nights out and a strong pension are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV CE (Class 1) Licence.
• Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience.
• Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• HIAB or crane experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bulk oil products to customers across the UK.
• Operate tanker vehicles with full training provided.
• Complete vehicle checks and delivery documentation.
• Make metered deliveries using hoses and reels.
• Typically 2-4 nights out per week.

The Role

As a Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering bulk oil products to customers across the UK.

Duties Include:

• Operating specialist tanker vehicles (full training provided)
• Metered deliveries using hoses and reels
• Completing vehicle checks and delivery documentation
• Typically 2-4 nights out per week

What We're Looking For

• Valid LGV CE (Class 1) Licence
• Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 penalty points
• Ability to pass a driving assessment
• HIAB or crane experience
• Experience with metered delivery systems

Don't have tanker experience? No problem. Full training will be provided.
