Job summary

First Military Recruitment is seeking a Class 1 Shunter Driver in Cardiff. You will join the transport team and work a rotating shift pattern: 6:00–14:00, 14:00–22:00, and 22:00–06:00. Ex-military candidates are encouraged, with all applicants given fair consideration.

Responsibilities include daily vehicle checks, safe movement of goods, adherence to procedures, and securing loads on various vehicle types. A flexible approach to hours is required.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 license with no endorsements.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital tachograph card is required.

Responsibilities

• Daily vehicle checks.
• Move products safely and efficiently around site.
• Follow instructions from Transport Planner.
• Primarily move goods around site.
• Follow safety policies and report noncompliance.
• Secure loads on Flatbed and Curtain Sided Vehicles.
