Job summary

XPO TRANSPORT SOLUTIONS UK LIMITED at Barrow Upon Soar is hiring Class 1 HGV drivers on a permanent contract. You will work a Monday to Friday night shift from 20:00 to 06:00, delivering trunk loads between British Gypsum sites.

The role is paid at £18.19 per hour, on PAYE. You will need a full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement, up to six penalty points, a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card, and a solid knowledge of the UK road network.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement.
• No more than six penalty points and no DD/DR/IN/CD endorsements.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.

Responsibilities

• Trunk full loads between British Gypsum sites.
• Drive new equipment and pull new trailers.
• Work in a safety-driven environment; sites are FORS compliant.
• No manual handling; loads are loaded and tipped by site.

Were looking for Class 1 HGV Drivers to join us at our British Gypsum site in Barrow Upon Soar on a permanent contract.

You'll be working a Monday to Friday shift pattern 20:00-06:00

Youll be working a Monday to Friday shift pattern, working nights. In return, well offer you a competitive hourly rate of £18.19 per hour, with the opportunity to work extra shifts on top. The role is PAYE.

What youll do on a typical day:

• Trunk full loads between British Gypsum sites
• Drive new equipment and pull new trailers
• Work in an environment that is highly safety driven. Our sites are Silver Standard FORS compliant
• No manual handling, all loads are loaded and tipped by British Gypsum

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• Well need you to have a full UK driving licence (with C+Eentitlement),
• Youll have no more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.
• A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
