Job summary

The Results People in Ellesmere Port are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Shunter for a well-established client in Ellesmere Port. This full-time role offers guaranteed shifts and consistent work, with duties including safe shunting of articulated lorries in a yard and adherence to a 4 on, 4 off pattern.

Pay rates (PAYE) start at £17.80 per hour, with overtime at £22.25 per hour and a £10 tax-free meal allowance per shift.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 12 months of Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor endorsements only).

Responsibilities

• Shunt articulated lorries and trailers within a yard.
• Operate in a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.

Duties:

• Driver will be responsible for safely shunting articulated lorries and trailers within a yard
• 4 on, 4 off shift pattern

Pay rates PAYE:

• Monday to Friday: £17.80ph (£19.95 inc holiday pay)
• Monday to Friday overtime: £22.25ph (£24.95 inc holiday pay)
• Plus £10 tax free meal allowance per shift

Requirements:

• Assessment required before starting.
• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 12 months of experience as a Class 1 driver (shunting experience preferred)
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor endorsements only).
