Job summary

ARR Craib Ltd. in Inverness is seeking a Class 1 Driver for a nights, 4on 4off shift. You will trunk from the Inverness depot to Cambuslang and back, with local deliveries on return.

The role uses curtain-sided trailers to unload refrigerated products at retail stores and requires secure loading and daily vehicle checks. Full training provided for refrigerated trailers and tail lifts; strong customer service, deadline adherence, and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Experience of refrigerated trailers and tail lifts is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Confident, polite, and a team player.
• Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Trunk from the depot in Inverness to Cambuslang and reload back to Inverness. Carry out 2x local deliveries following return to Inverness depot.
• Use a curtain sided trailer to drop refrigerated products in cages to retail stores.
• Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed.
• Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
• Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.

About The Role

As a Class 1 Driver, you will:
