Job summary

Recruit A Driver is seeking two Class 1 Night Trunk Drivers for ongoing work in Rotherham. You'll trunk with box trailers, load with a manual pump truck, and ensure safety checks.

Shifts are Monday to Friday, starting between 18:00 and 20:00, with approx 9-hour shifts. A UK Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC card and tachograph are required.

In-house payroll and weekly pay are offered, with support from experienced consultants.

Responsibilities

• Complete trunking runs using a Class 1 vehicle and box trailer.
• Load goods using a manual pump truck from the rear of the trailer.
• Safely move goods into position within the trailer.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks.
• Complete required paperwork accurately.
• Comply with driver hours and working time regulations.
• Maintain professional driving standards and good timekeeping.

Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour

Hours: Approximately 9-hour shifts

ABOUT THE ROLE

Recruit A Driver is recruiting two Class 1 Night Trunk Drivers for ongoing work with a well-established client based in Rotherham.

The role involves trunking with box trailers, with an additional loading responsibility using a manual pump truck. Goods are placed at the rear of the trailer by a forklift driver, so you will not be required to operate a forklift yourself.
